The Oma Taurus Single Speed Electric Granite Profile and Polishing Counter Top Router

The Taurus Granite Router Profile and Polishing Machine comes with an aqua planning base designed differently than its competitors. By having many water holes across the entire base, the Taurus Aqua base creates an incredibly stable and steady platform. Even when you get to the corners and edges of the stone and part of the base accidentally comes off the stone. Also, because there is constant flow of water being pushed from the inside out, it helps to prevent pieces of stone from sliding under the router and creating scratches.

4) Oma Interchangable Spindle Adapter system. The Taurus comes with 3 spindle adapters that allow 100% complete flexibility in the type, style, and any manufacture of router bit you choose to use. The adapters offer the Oma center water feed spindle, the standard adapter for use with the Ghines and other standard router bits, plus an adapter for use with Marmo Mechannica and other bits. Simply screw into the spindle for quick and easy installation.

5) Oma Taurus has the power and ability to process up to 10 cm of profile on granite, marble, engineered stone, quartz, ceramic, porcelain, and glass slabs.

6) Oma Safety and Shock Prevention: Oma has built in the on/off control at a low voltage (24 volt). This eliminates the risk of electric shock. All the power and risk is sent to the Power Box, away from the machine, so that the risk of an accident is virtually eliminated.

7) 6000 RPM: Profiling does not require 10,000 or higher rpms. By reducing the rpms, the Taurus runs extremely smooth, eliminating excess and unnecessary vibrations, creating perfect profiles without ripples or waves.

8) Spindle can be adjusted up or down without the machine being on. This allows precise bit height adjustment, without getting wet.

9) Spindle lock nut guarantees height adjustment.

10) Comes complete with the external power box.
