18" Hard Stone Bridge Saw Blade
This hard stone diamond bridge saw blade is performant on mulitple materials. It's design contributess to fast slurry removal which allows for fast, clean cutting. It cuts perfectly straight and is great for miter cuts.
About 18" Grey Leopard Blades
The Grey Leopard is a diamond blade made specifically for hard stone materials. It features a split segment design and is engineered with a silent core. The design of this hard stone diamond blade is made to remove slurry fast and keep lots of water between the segments and stone. Therefore producing high perofrmance on several hard stone surfaces, including:
- Granite
- Quartz
- Engineered Stone
- Quartzite
Because of its ability to remove slurry quickly, even though this blade is a hard stone blade, it may also be used on natural marble.
Fast & Clean Cuts
Why does the Grey Leopard hard stone diamond blade cut so fast? Because of its European style, split segment design. This 18" diameter bridge saw blade has two segments per landing. This gives it the ability to cut through stone fast with a extremely clean result.
Straight Cutting
Why is the Grey Leopard a straight cutting bridge saw blade for hard stone? The answer lies in its core. The 18" Grey Leopard hard stone blades are constructed with a specially designed stiff core. The core is much more ridgid than a standard silent core blade. As a result, these blades cut perfectly straight and don't "walk" on miters.
Key Features:
- Split Segment Design
- Extremely Easy Cutting
- Very Good Results On Quartzite
- Sharp and Straight Cutting
- Ideal for Miter Cuts
- Can be Used On Marble
So in summary, the 18" Grey Leopard diamond blade for hard stone is a blade precisely designed for cutting various stone fast and clean. It cuts perfectly straight even on miters and has long life segments.
Blade Specifications |
Circumferential speeds of approx. 30 to 45 m/s possible. |
Optimal use at approx. 39-41m/sec (e.g. DRM 400mm/1900-2000 rpm) |
Feed (Granite) with full cut from 3cm - 2.0 to 5.0m/min |
Feed (Granite) with full cut from 2cm - 3.0 to 6.0m/min |
Feed (Granite) with lowering process 1.0-2.0cm - 3.0 to 5.0m/min |
Full cuts up to 4cm possible (feed up to 4.0 meters/min possible if the Speed is adjusted to 45m/sec) |
Note: If the circumferential speed is high, it is essential to cut quickly. If the peripheral speed is low, it is best to cut slowly.
