4" 3 Step Hybrid Polishing Pad Set
4" 3 step hybrid polishing pads are a versatile tool to have in the shop. Since these pads are designed for multiple scenarios, you can use them on natural stone materials and on engineered stone materials such as quartz as well. The range of materials on which these pads may be used includes the following:
- Granite
- Marble
- Quartzite
- Travertine
- Limestone
- Sandstone
- Soapstone
- Onyx
- Slate
- Engineered Stone
- Quartz
Though these pads may be used on all of the materials listed above, there is a minor difference between the ways the pads are used on them. When using the 4" 3 step hybrid polishing pads
on natural stone they may be used either wet or dry. However when using these pads on engineered stone or quartz surfaces you must use them wet.
Fabricators are always looking for ways to improve the fabrication process and this 4" 3 step system is helping them do that. Traditionally, fabricators used 7 step polishing pad systems to achieve a good, deep, rich polish. More recently though, technology produced 5 step systems that worked on light colored materials. However the dark materials were not as adaptable and a buff pad was still needed to get the desired quality of polish. Now though, great polishing is achieved using only 3 steps.
In reality if you use less expensive 3 step pads, you may not get the outstanding polish you are looking to achieve. Yet, with this 3step hybrid polishing pad system, you will get a remarkable polish in just 3 steps. In a 3 step diamond polishing pad system, quality and price truly make a difference in the results. Cheap simply will not work for getting a deep, rich polish in just three steps. It requires only the best quality pads to cut the antiquated 7 step process down to only 3. But these pads have done just that.
These 4" 3 step polishing pads repeatedly amaze skeptical fabricators that have tried so-called 3 step pads in the past. When doubting fabricators see the polish these hybrid pads produce on dark slabs in only three steps, they cannot believe that the polish was reached with a 3 step system. In fact, amazing results have been realized on several colors of dark slabs including:
- Black Absolute
- Baltic Brown
- Uba Tuba
- Silestone Black
- Silestone Gray
- Silestone Brown
- Dark Marbles
Profit conscious fabrication shops are shifting away from their 4, 5 and 6 step polishing pad systems that they used to buy for different materials and moving toward these pads that work on virtually everything that many shops polish.
Dry Polishing
For those looking to polish in a dry environment, these 3 step hybrid pads are a great dry polishing system on granite and marble surfaces. In fact, outstanding results are reached without one drop of water when using these as dry polishing pads on natural stone such as marble and granite. You cannot use them dry on materials containing resin though, the heat generated burns it and discolors the material.
High Quality With Outstanding Results
As you might expect, these pads have a higher price tag than other systems. And you may find them to cost a bit more than other 3 step polishing pads systems. However, these 3 step pads actually produce results. Premium quality cannot be made for the same prices as low quality inferior polishing pads. We've all heard the saying, "you get what you pay for." It is especially true in the case of 3 step polishing pads.
Getting a 4" 3 step polishing pad that can be used wet or dry on natural stone surfaces with exceptional results cannot be done using low quality, cheap materials, diamonds, or resin. Because these pads use the best of those resources, they cost a bit more than the "gimmick pads" that have disappointed many fabricators in search of something more efficient.
Frankly when these pads are made, price is not the concern. The results are the only concern when these pads are made. Speed, polish, and production, that is the focus.
3 Step Hybrid Results
What can you expect from this 3 step system? The end result with this 3 Step diamond polishing pad system will be as follows:
- Better quality finish than traditional 7 step pads
- 40%-60% faster shop production
- 1 pad to polish marble, granite, quartz stone
- Priced at the traditional 7 step quality polish pad price
Fabricator Benefits
Benefits for you as a fabricator:
- No worries about the quality of work going out of your shop because of pad issues.
- Drastic increase in shop production because of increased efficiency. Get more footage out the door every single day.
- Using 1 pad means the fabricators in the back need not adjust to various pads each time a material changes. Extreme familiarity with pads means greater efficiency and longer life from pads.
- Using 1 pad means simpler purchasing and fewer costly errors in orders.
- Cost per Linear foot is the same or less than buying 7 step pads.
